Remember when you were little and your Mom would come in on an early winter morning and tell you that school was cancelled due to snow?  Normally, waking up was hard, but on those days you easily bound out of bed and camped on the sofa watching cartoons.  You enjoyed a leisurely breakfast, stayed in your jammies way too long and later in the day, when the snow subsided, you bundled up and went outside to enjoy the freshly fallen snow.  Then, after hours of building forts and snowmen you would go in for hot cocoa and cookies or, in my case, saltines with butter (my Mom put butter on everything, delish).  Ah!...good times!  Well, except for the whole Mom and butter thing and the cartoons because last nights' Parenthood is way more intriguing to me these days, today is one of those days!!   Puddlejumpers is closed today due to inclement weather. This weather is quite beautiful if you can watch it from a cozy place and a snow day brings out the kid in all of us I hope you are able to stay home too and if not, if you're a mailman or a brain surgeon and simply MUST go out......be careful.
