It's that time of year...time for scouting troops everywhere to start up again!  I was a Scout when I was young and I have the fondest memories of that experience.  We would all walk together after school from Lincoln Street to our meetings on Pine Street.  It was a very big deal and we felt so grown up!  Our leaders worked tirelessly to plan activities for us. We enjoyed crafts, cooking, tapping maple trees and caroling at local nursing homes at Christmas time.   I share with many of my customers that my cooking badge from Junior Scouts is matted and framed in my pantry...my "credentials" I like to say.
Anyway, no doubt your daughter came home with some information about joining Girl Scouts or continuing with her scouting from previous years.  If you haven't already, you will be asked to purchase the basic uniform for her and puddlejumpers has it all.  We know the basics and will gladly help you put together what you need.  The only information you must bring with you is your daughter's troop numbers, usually 5 digits.  Our initial order arrived this week so we are ready and hope to see you soon!
